“We believe all people have the right to choose where they live and who provides their support”.

Scioto Properties is proud to have a long-standing relationship Brandi’s Hope Community Services. The goal of this organization is simple: support individuals the way they choose to be supported. Scioto Properties has been helping them achieve this goal since September 17, 2012. Since then we have purchased many homes for the organization and we are always looking for more properties to help Brandi’s Hope Community Services continue to support people with disabilities in their community.

Brandi’s Hope started out as a dream for owner and CEO, Danny Cowart. For over 10 years, Danny and his wife, Brenda, received support services for their daughter. Brandi Erin Cowart was born with Trisomy 18, a rare and fatal chromosomal disorder. Danny and Brenda were determined to give their daughter the opportunity to live at home and have a typical childhood.

It was their own personal experience that highlighted the need for support to parents and advocates. Danny also realized this need through his experience as the CEO of a service provider that offered these supports statewide in Mississippi. The fundamental driving force for all members of Brandi’s Hope is choice.

“Brandi’s Hope Community Services offers families the choice to receive support in their home/community by a direct support professional of their choice. We believe all people have the right to choose where they live and who provides their support”.

Currently, Brandi’s Hope Community Services has three locations, Pascagoula, Picayune and Tupelo, along with the corporate office in Magee, Mississippi. They serve over 65 families across the state. If you would like to know more about this organization, feel free to contact them at any of their locations. www.brandishope.com/
