Sirus Automotive will be exhibiting a number of vehicles at Naidex National, held at Birmingham NEC, 29th April – 1st May 2014.

The Car Zone now includes a test track, which is a first for the Naidex Show. The track will enable anyone who is interested in vehicle conversions and adaptations to have a test drive within the grounds of the NEC. Sirus has a team of mobility advisors who will guide you through the test drive process. Sirus demonstration vehicles are fitted with dual brakes and push pull hand controls for complete confidence and safety.

Sirus will be exhibiting the UK’s most affordable combined drive from wheelchair and wheelchair passenger up front vehicle solution. The conversion enables the chair user to travel in both positions, and due to the more affordable price, makes freedom and independence a much more viable option. The vehicle, with a fully automated tailgate and ramp, is based on the Fiat Qubo, offers space for up to four people, with up to 66mpg fuel efficiency.

Also on the stand Sirus will have the following vehicles;
Volkswagen Caddy drive from wheelchair solution
This vehicle gives you total freedom and independence at all times. You no longer need the help of family members or carers to get out and about as the driving experience can now be enjoyed from the comfort of your own chair.

Fiat Qubo Future
The UK’s most affordable wheelchair passenger up front vehicle on the Motability Scheme. Based on the Fiat Qubo , the conversion enables the wheelchair user to travel up front next to the driver from the comfort of their wheelchair. The vehicle is available in both manual and automatic gearbox options.

On the test track, Sirus will have the following vehicles;
Volkswagen Caddy Wheelchair Passenger Up Front solution
If you don’t drive, Sirus also offer a Wheelchair Passenger Up Front option, this solution enables you to travel up front in your wheelchair next to the driver. Being a much more sociable way of travelling, you can actually see what the driver sees!

Volkswagen Caddy Internal transfer solution
This is the perfect vehicle if you are a wheelchair user who wants to drive yet prefer the comfort of a standard driver’s seat. Your wheelchair is secured inside the vehicle allowing you to transfer safely into the driver’s seat using a powered 6 way seat.

Vehicle adaptations
Sirus also has an adaptations department and can recommend tailor-made vehicle adaptations to suit your individual needs and requirements. If you live in the Midlands area, have a standard car and require some help to stay on the road, call our adaptations specialist Nik Gillet. Nik has a wealth of knowledge and has been with Sirus for nine years now. We can fit a range of driving controls, seating solutions and boot hoists.

Visit Sirus on stand E65. You can also leave your details to be entered into a competition to win £100.
